ALTRAI ALPHA

We're building something new for the people around us.

A connection engine powered by real intent — not noise.

Project Nucleus is about helping our community find each other. Friends of friends. Builders. Dreamers. People with momentum.
If you're curious about what connection could look like — you're invited.

David A. Wilson

"We're not here to gatekeep opportunity. We're building systems that open doors — and we're starting with our people."

— David A. Wilson, Co-founder

Not a Launch

A Soft Activation

This is a 30-day live test of our connection system. It's not a product launch or press event — it's a genuine experiment with early-stage matching tech.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about Project Nucleus

Why's it called Project Nucleus?

Because this is the core. The beginning. The "what if" moment. Everything big starts small. This is where it starts for us — and maybe for you, too.

So… what is this?

Project Nucleus is a 30-day live test of a connection system we've been building behind the scenes. It's not a product launch or a press event — it's a genuine experiment to see what happens when we put early-stage matching tech in the hands of people we already trust. We're inviting a small group of folks to fill out our basic questions. We'll use that info to test-match participants for thoughtful professional introductions — not at random, but based on alignment, timing, and shared purpose. This is for our circle. Our extended community. And the people who get passed the link from someone in it. That's it. We're offering connection. Shared with our people. Let's see what happens when we build forward — together.

Who's behind this?

A small team of people you may already know (or are one degree from). We've been quietly building and testing this for a while. Brandon (our CTO) has led engineering teams at scale and helped architect the infrastructure behind major dating platforms like OkCupid. He's deeply passionate about the science of connection and how to apply real engineering to something as complex — and human — as relationship-building. David (our CEO) founded TheGrio and helped grow it into one of the most influential Black media platforms in America. His belief in the collective power of the village drives everything we do — that no door stays closed when the right people are aligned and intentional. Together, we're not just imagining better ways to connect people. We're testing them, now.

Is this some big corporate thing trying to mine my data?

Absolutely tf nah. We're not in the business of extraction — not now, not ever. We're a mission-first startup, not a data machine. We're trying to move in the opposite direction: toward transparency, consent, reduced bias, and trust-centered design. Stealing or selling data just isn't part of that future. What you share stays private, stays local to this test, and only helps us make thoughtful, human-centered matches. Period. We don't want your eyeballs. We want better infrastructure for trust.

Is this a real company?

Yes — if you count three people you probably already know (or know someone who does), working 80–90 hours a week off cold brew, little sleep, and big ambition. We're funded, focused, and building what we believe is the best shot yet at making professional connection feel less extractive, more aligned, and actually valuable. We're not trying to disrupt networking. We're trying to rebuild it with more care.

Why the résumé?

This isn't for gatekeeping — it's for signal. We use your résumé as a starting point for pattern recognition: what you've built, how you move, and what you might be looking for next (even if you don't know it yet). Our system analyzes that input to surface potential matches based on intent, alignment, and working style — not clout. And this isn't your average matching tech. It's built by Brandon — who engineered OkCupid and advised Hinge, Tinder, and more. He's one of the few people alive who understands how to scale connection without making it meaningless.

What will you do with my data?

Only what we say — and nothing more. We use it to generate potential matches We keep it inside this small pilot group We never sell it, share it, or spam you with it This isn't a "just trust us" situation. This is us being specific about boundaries — and keeping them.

Will I get matched with someone?

Maybe. This is an experiment, not a guarantee. But if you're in this group, we already think you're someone worth building around. If our system spots a strong fit, we'll reach out with a thoughtful, no-pressure intro. If not, you still helped shape what we're building. That matters.

What if I want in — like, really in?

Say less. We're building the team. We're raising. We're looking for aligned folks who want to shape something meaningful from the inside. If you want to invest, contribute, collaborate — or even just learn more — reach out. We'd love to connect.
